Raymond James is seeking an Associate Director of Trading Technology to lead trader‑facing systems and through‑line platforms that support equity and options trading across the enterprise.

You will partner with traders, product, operations, and architecture to modernize legacy capabilities into a scalable, API‑driven ecosystem while ensuring regulatory compliance and platform stability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience leading software engineering and technology teams responsible for mission‑critical trading and wealth management platforms.
• Deep knowledge of Wealth Management trading operations and order management processes.
• Experience building trader‑facing applications and front‑office trading systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the Raymond James Trade Desk Order Entry (TDOE) platform and provide strategic leadership for equity and options trading.
• Ensure delivery, stability, and evolution of TDOE aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Lead requirements gathering, solution design, and roadmap for trading workflows and platform integrations.
• Drive modernization with UI updates, API enablement, and service-based architecture while preserving platform stability.
• Coordinate across engineering, QA, SRE, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable trading capabilities.
• Mentor and grow high‑performing teams and foster accountability and collaboration.
