Job summary

Broadridge is seeking a senior trading applications engineer to support and optimize mission-critical trading platforms across front- and middle-office environments. You will diagnose live issues, work with traders, vendors, and engineers, and drive improvements in data quality and reconciliation.

This hybrid Newark-based role combines deep technical troubleshooting with production support and automation to enhance OMS/EMS, market data, and post-trade workflows.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in financial technology, capital markets, or trading systems.
• Strong MS SQL skills with data reconciliation and production data analysis.
• Proficiency in OOP and reading/troubleshooting code in C#, VB.NET, Java, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced production support for trading, OMS, EMS, and market data platforms.
• Analyze full trade lifecycle from order creation to settlement and reporting.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, databases, APIs, FIX sessions, and middleware.
• Develop automation tools and monitoring to improve platform stability.
