Senior Software Engineer – Multi-Asset Order Management System (OMS) based in New York, NY. Hybrid work arrangement with a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

You will design and build a scalable, real-time OMS, owning the full trade lifecycle and integrations with exchanges, brokers, and custodians. You will work on high-performance distributed systems, streaming data pipelines, and key architectural decisions, collaborating with technical and executive leadership to shape the platform's

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience building production trading systems.
• Expert-level Python for backend services and data processing.
• Strong C++ experience in high-performance or low-latency environments.
• Experience with Smart Order Routing and exchange connectivity.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS or similar technologies.
• Strong PostgreSQL and high-volume data processing experience.
• Experience building real-time streaming systems and scalable data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, execution, reconciliation and trading workflows.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing a scalable multi-asset OMS.
• Owning the full trade lifecycle including routing, execution, allocations, positions and reconciliation.
• Building FIX, exchange, custodian and third-party trading integrations.
• Developing high-performance market data and execution pipelines.
• Designing resilient, event-driven distributed systems.
• Scaling the platform for high order volumes and multiple asset classes.
• Evolving towards a fully real-time trading environment.
• Collaborating with leadership on long-term architecture.
