Job summary

Societe Generale in New York seeks a Senior Vice President - Trade Finance Origination & Structuration to originate and structure unfunded trade finance exposures, including SBLCs and bank guarantees, for corporate and institutional clients. You will work with multiple teams to offer tailored solutions and optimize the bank’s balance sheet through syndication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration or related field.
• MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in trade finance, transaction banking or syndicated loans.

Responsibilities

• Originate and execute trade finance transactions for corporate and institutional clients.
• Structure unfunded SBLC facilities and advise on fronting arrangements and risk-sharing.
• Negotiate facility agreements and distribution with partner banks.
• Monitor market pricing, regulatory changes and capital considerations.
