Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Manager, Trade Controls Southern Border based in New Brunswick, NJ. You will lead the strategy for U.S.-Mexico trade across the Southern Border for Medical Technology, working with cross-functional partners to ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires 10+ years in U.S. import compliance or global trade, with strong data-analysis and leadership capabilities to drive risk mitigation and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in U.S. import compliance, global trade, or cross-functional leadership.
• Experience using ACE data to monitor, reconcile, or audit.
• Knowledge of USMCA, tariff classification, and import entry requirements.
• Strong data-analysis, risk-assessment, dashboard, and executive-communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of the trade controls strategy for the US-Mexico Southern Border for Medical Technology segments.
• Collaborate with Trade Operations, Supply Chain and Legal to ensure compliance.
• Develop dashboards and communicate findings, risks, and actions to the business.
• Escalate complex matters to Legal and coordinate with outside counsel when needed.
• Monitor and register risks arising from USMCA and other regulatory changes.
• Promote a culture of controls, accountability, and cross-border collaboration.
