Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, CA is seeking an Engineering Specialist focused on Modeling & Simulation and tracking systems. You will lead hands-on studies for complex architectures and collaborate across sensor disciplines to deliver performance assessments.

You will develop tracking algorithms and fusion tools, serve as a technical lead, and coordinate tasks while communicating designs to customers and stakeholders. Security clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years leading technical teams and coordinating complex modeling/analysis tasks.
• Experience in modeling, simulation, and analysis of space systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform hands-on modeling, simulation, and analysis for complex system-of-systems architectures.
• Evaluate multi-domain tracking architectures with space, air, maritime, and ground components.
• Design, develop, and implement tracking algorithms and data fusion tools.
• Serve as technical expert and customer liaison for projects.
• Coordinate complex technical tasks and present technically accurate designs.
