Job summary

Google DeepMind in Mountain View, CA, is seeking a Manager, Technical Program Manager for GenAI Safety. You will lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering programs, plan requirements with internal customers, and shepherd projects through the entire lifecycle from concept to delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program management.
• 5 years of leadership roles, with/without direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end delivery of GenAI Safety programs and related initiatives, ensuring on-time execution and quality.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Gemini Release, Model Behavior, and Multi-turn research to align plans and timelines.
• Engage with researchers and engineers on safety evaluations, loss functions, and trade-offs to deliver credible solutions.
• Surface blockers and drive tooling improvements to support research and execution, with executive-level communication.
