Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead security and compliance initiatives for Generative AI products within the Cloud AI team. You will guide security roadmaps, coordinate with product managers, engineers, and legal/compliance to implement regulatory controls and certifications.

You will manage complex AI security programs, drive threat modeling, governance, and risk mitigation while communicating trade-offs to executives and engineers alike.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of program management experience.
• Experience with AI/Cloud security principles and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, GDPR).
• Experience with data protection and security architecture in LLMs and Generative AI release cycles.
• Experience establishing and tracking KPIs for security posture, audit readiness, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Lead GenAI security and compliance efforts across data privacy, regulatory frameworks, security standards, and risk management.
• Manage security and compliance programs with technical and product understanding; provide thought leadership on AI security standards.
• Oversee end-to-end lifecycles of AI security and compliance initiatives from requirements to risk assessment and audits.
• Partner with engineering, compliance, legal, and product teams to define workstreams and milestones; drive cross-functional alignment.
• Provide clear status updates to leadership and promote KPI-driven risk mitigation and regulatory readiness.
