The ideal candidate will have over 5 years in compensation or total rewards, particularly in a fast-paced startup environment related to EV or aerospace. A passion for boating and the water is also preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in compensation, benefits, or total rewards spanning both exempt and non-exempt roles.
• Strong analytical and modeling skills, with proficiency at leveraging modern AI tools to improve efficiency and increase quality.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear policies, comp strategies, and exception frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Owning Arc's compensation philosophy, salary bands, and equity strategy across various roles.
• Running annual and off-cycle compensation planning, including bonus cycles and equity refreshes.
• Partnering with Recruiting on offers and candidate-facings comp narratives.
