Job summary

Freenome in California is seeking a Senior Manager, Total Rewards to own end-to-end total rewards strategy, balancing strategic design with hands-on execution in compensation and benefits. You will partner with People, Payroll, Finance and Legal to drive programs for a public company, ensuring compliance, governance and accurate administration while maintaining confidentiality and strong internal controls.

This role offers hybrid work (3–4 days/week) from our Brisbane, California headquarters

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in HR, business, or related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in benefits, compensation, total rewards, or HR ops.
• Experience supporting Total Rewards programs at a publicly traded company.
• Hands-on experience administering health and welfare benefits and partnering with brokers, carriers, vendors, Payroll, and HR systems.
• Experience with market benchmarking, salary range administration, incentive programs, or equity administration.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with data reconciliation abilities.
• Proficiency with HRIS and benefits systems; strong spreadsheet skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own end-to-end total rewards programs across benefits and compensation.
• Oversee day-to-day health and wellbeing benefits administration and enrollment processing.
• Perform market pricing and salary benchmarking for new roles and promotions.
• Prepare compensation reports, equity models, and analytics for leadership and governance.
• Ensure SOX controls, data accuracy, and compliance across programs.
