Job summary

Westfall Technik, LLC, a fast growing Plastic Injection Manufacturing Company in the USA and aiming for global expansion, seeks an experienced Toolmaker at our Asheboro, NC site. You will perform maintenance, disassembly/reassembly of molds, and tool fabrication using mills, lathes, grinders, EDMs, and welders.

You’ll collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams and mentor junior staff. Relocation opportunities are available for qualified candidates; nationwide applicants welcome.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• 5–7 years as a Tool Maker in high-volume plastic injection molding is ideal.
• Strong knowledge of mold construction, maintenance practices, and tooling materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and configurations of molds and tooling systems.
• Disassemble and reassemble mold tools using precision hand tools and hoisting equipment.
• Use mills, lathes, grinders, EDMs and welding machines to fabricate or modify tooling components.
• Maintain records of maintenance actions and tool changes; report to Engineering/Quality.
• Participate in mold trials and provide feedback on tooling performance to teams.
