Job summary

Westfall Technik, LLC seeks a Lead Tool Maker to design, fabricate, assemble, maintain and repair precision tools, dies, molds, jigs and fixtures used in production. You will mentor junior team members and collaborate with Engineering, Production and Quality to improve tooling performance and reduce downtime.

You will work with CNC milling, lathes, EDM and inspection equipment, ensuring tooling readiness and compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications

• Lead toolmaker role requiring designing, fabricating, assembling, maintaining and repairing precision tooling.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with Engineering, Production and Quality teams.
• Experience with CNC, EDM and inspection tooling is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate, assemble, maintain and repair precision tools, dies, molds, and fixtures.
• Lead tooling projects and assist in time/resource estimation.
• Mentor junior toolmakers and improve tooling designs for efficiency.
