Job summary

Tigre USA, Inc. is seeking a Tool Maker Sr to lead toolmaking, mold maintenance, and precision fabrication in our Janesville, WI facility. You will perform complex welding, read intricate drawings, and guide junior team members in machine setup and maintenance.

The role requires a strong background in CNC and manual machining, 5S leadership, and proficient use of SAP for maintenance data. Travel up to 10% may be required to support mold repair efforts.

Qualifications

• Ten years of hands-on experience in toolmaking with high-precision tooling.
• Experience in design, fabrication and maintenance of molds and fixtures.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and schematics.
• Experience with CNC and manual machining processes.
• Proven leadership in mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair of tools and molds to high standards.
• Perform complex welding (TIG, MIG, stick) for mold/tool repair.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for CNC/manual operations.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify tolerances on components.
• Set up and operate CNC/manual mills, lathes, grinders; mentor others.
• Lead 5S initiatives to keep the workshop organized and efficient.
• Maintain accurate maintenance data in SAP and communicate with cross-functional teams.
