Job summary

Modern Molding Inc. is seeking an experienced Toolmaker and Tooling Machinist to build new plastic injection molds and repair existing tooling. This full-time role involves setting up CNC mills/lathes, reading complex blueprints, and collaborating with engineering to optimize mold performance.

The ideal candidate has strong machining skills, experience with tooling maintenance, and a solid background in plastic injection tooling. Join our in-house tooling expansion.

Qualifications

Must have high school diploma and relevant technical schooling preferred.
Experience in plastic injection tooling maintenance and repair is required.
Ability to read complex blueprints and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

Build new plastic injection molds from blueprints and designs.
Modify and repair existing injection tooling to meet specs.
Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes for tooling components.
Troubleshoot tooling issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain clean, organized tooling department work areas.
