Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Tooling Manager 3 to lead a multi-disciplinary tooling organization at the Clearfield, Utah site. The role directs Tool Engineering, Metrology, Tooling Fabrication, and Maintenance to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets across programs.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years (or advanced degrees with relevant experience), plus proven leadership and EVMS/CAM proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional experience in tooling, manufacturing/operations, assembly lines, and/or implementing technology into a production environment.
• 3 years of proven experience leading teams or projects.
• Ability to obtain and maintain final adjudicated Secret Clearance with required program access.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of exempt Tooling Managers including Metrology, Tool & Die, and Engineering disciplines.
• Guide a team of 50 employees and oversee objectives for quality, cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop long-range plans and strategies to provide affordable Tooling products and services.
• Identify staffing/skillsrequirements, forecasts, and training plans.
• Manage CAM responsibility to all site tooling activities and ensure EVMS compliance for budgets.
• Formulate capital asset plans to build a sustainable Tooling Manufacturing Center.
• Collaborate with Sector Tooling Management to deploy best practices across the sector.
