Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced advanced manufacturing fabrication professional to fabricate and assemble tooling for spaceflight systems. You will work with large structural components, drilling, grinding, shimming, fastening, and torquing, while installing fluid and pneumatic systems with high precision.

You will inspect parts against blueprints, interpret GD&T, and collaborate with leadership to prioritize work.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in tooling fabrication and assembly in aerospace is preferred.
• Strong blueprint interpretation skills for tool assembly.
• Detail-oriented with effective communication in fast-paced teams.
• Customer-focused with teamwork across multiple teams.
• Organizational and analytical skills for complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble large structural components with drilling, grinding, shimming, fastening, torquing.
• Install fluid and pneumatic components precisely.
• Inspect components for blueprint conformance and interpret GD&T.
• Collaborate with leadership to align priorities with schedules and goals.
• Ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.
• Contribute to tooling design improvements.
