Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced tooling fabricator to join the Advanced Manufacturing Fabrication Division. You will fabricate and assemble large structural components, focusing on drilling, grinding, and precision torqueing to support rocket and space vehicle production.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in tooling fabrication, strong blueprint interpretation, and experience with precision tools like torque wrenches and micrometers.

Qualifications

• Over 6 years of experience in tooling fabrication and assembly, preferably in the aerospace industry.
• Strong blueprint interpretation skills specific to tool assembly.
• Familiarity with precision tools such as torque wrenches and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication and assembly of large structural components involving drilling, grinding, shimming, fastening, and torquing.
• Install fluid and pneumatic components with precision.
• Inspect components for blueprint conformance and GD&T interpretation.
• Collaborate with leadership to align priorities with schedules and goals.
• Ensure product quality and adherence to engineering specifications.
• Support tooling design improvements and safety enhancements.
