Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. Aeronautics Systems seeks a site Tooling Engineering Manager 2 in Iuka, MS, to lead a team supporting multiple projects. You will drive staffing, processes, and cost control to meet schedules and quality targets while interfacing with customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (STEM preferred) and 5 years of tooling/production experience OR Master’s degree and 3 years of tooling/production experience.
• Two years of proven experience leading teams or projects.
• Must have an active U.S. Government Secret or higher clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee tooling program objectives regarding technical, quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Interface with internal/external customers; provide status and forecast of tooling cost and delivery.
• Develop staffing, skill forecasts, and training plans for the tooling organization.
• Maintain and update tooling life-cycle procedures from proposal to implementation.
• Perform CAM responsibilities to ensure EVMS compliance for program budgets.
• Develop long-range plans to improve tooling affordability and drive best practices.
