Job summary

You will partner with operations, quality and maintenance teams, analyze daily reports, implement countermeasures, manage equipment, coach colleagues, and drive cost improvements while adopting new technologies to boost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with relevant experience (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Electrical) in Manufacturing; if no degree, 6 years experience required.
• Manufacturing co-op experience preferred but not required.
• Computer literate to support industry standard software applications.
• Positive attitude, team player, and strong self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Communicate upstream and downstream to assure common understanding and direction.
• Analyze daily reports to identify safety, quality, delivery gaps and develop countermeasures or root cause analysis.
• Use data analytics and PDCA to lead and justify solutions with related groups for area of responsibility.
• Monitor and manage equipment and processes to optimize manufacturing performance and minimize expenses.
• Develop capability of self, colleagues, and team through training and mentoring in area of technical expertise.
• Establish priorities and make data-driven decisions to accomplish business objectives.
