Live Well Homecare is seeking an engineer to manage production tooling and drive improvements in tooling design, quality, and efficiency. You will analyze costs, support tooling development, and coordinate processes for new models while collaborating with internal teams and suppliers.

The role requires a mechanical or electrical engineering degree and 2–8 years of equipment engineering experience, with strong CAD skills and project management abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 2-8 years of experience in equipment engineering.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD (2D & 3D), and SolidWorks.
  • Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead tool budget creation, control, and analysis to optimize costs.
  • Provide daily engineering support to troubleshoot tooling issues and develop tools, drawings, and holders.
  • Perform tool analysis, document results, and support process improvements.
  • Coordinate development of cutting tools, tool holders, and machining processes for new models and technologies.
  • Support line-side trials, ensuring quality and delivery during new model testing.
  • Lead collaboration and negotiations with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Communicate technical issues effectively and build relationships across departments.
  • Manage projects and ensure alignment with production, engineering, and development teams.

Job description

We are seeking a qualified professional to manage and improve production line productivity and quality related to cutting tool designs, ensuring continuous improvement and technological advancement.

Key responsibilities include:
