Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Sr. Tool and Gage Maker for the 2nd shift to independently perform tool and gage making, set‑ups, calibrations, and related SAP transactions.

The role requires reading complex blueprints, fabricating gages, and ensuring tools meet specifications while adhering to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience (or 3+ with related credentials), strong math and precision measurement skills, and familiarity with HAAS/TRAK machines and

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; 5+ years experience in tool & gage making or 3+ years with related certificate.
• Experience reading blueprints and working with precision measurement equipment.
• Knowledge of tool and gage making processes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and work from blueprints, sketches, drawings and samples; lay out tools for machining/inspection.
• Machining/repair tools, gages and fixtures with accuracy.
• Calibrate and fabricate fixtures and gages to specifications; document work.
• Provide technical support to internal/external customers; follow SAP processes.
• Maintain safe working conditions and follow EHS guidelines.
