Job summary

Unify Recruit seeks a Senior Tool Maker to join our precision manufacturing team. You will fabricate, repair, and design fixtures, tooling, and gages, using blueprints and CAD/CAM tools while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

You will interpret blueprints, work with precision measuring devices, and collaborate with machinists to meet production goals. A high school diploma plus a technical certificate is preferred, with 5+ years in tool-making and strong math skills required.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and use precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, indicators).
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong math skills (geometry and algebra) for fabrication calculations.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA 21CFR820 preferred (on-the-job training provided).
• Excellent problem-solving and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, repair, and produce fixtures, tooling, loading fixtures, and gages.
• Design fixtures and tools from blueprints and models; determine materials and fabrication machinery.
• Operate tool room equipment safely and efficiently per OSHA standards and company procedures.
• Handle purchase requisitions for raw materials and components; recommend outside fabrication options when needed.
• Assist machinists on the shop floor to ensure smooth operations.
