Job summary

Boyd Allenton is seeking a Senior Tool and Die Technician to maintain die-cast tooling essential to our manufacturing process. You will collaborate with the tooling team to ensure tooling readiness and reliability in production.

You will perform preventive maintenance, support machining tasks, and ensure compliance with QMS and safety guidelines while communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must perform advanced mathematics and use a calculator.
• Must communicate professionally with employees at all times.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business paperwork.
• Able to present information to managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization.
• Proficient with MS Office software and PC usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on die-cast tooling and related components.
• Complete shop paperwork accurately as directed.
• Support production by completing tooling or machining tasks per procedures.
• Repair broken tools, mills, lathes, and grinders.
• Fabricate cores tips, fixtures, and slot rods.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Follow QMS requirements and safety guidelines.
