Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on shot rods, high-pressure die-cast tooling, and trim dies.
• Complete shop paperwork accurately and as directed.
• Support production needs with tooling or machining work per procedures.
• Repair broken tools, mills, lathes, and grinders.
• Fabricate cores, tips, fixtures, and slot rods.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow QMS requirements.
• Follow Boyd safety and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The primary responsibility of this position is the preparation and maintenance of the die-cast tooling necessary for our manufacturing processes.
