La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Tool & Die Technician with 5+ years in manufacturing. Responsibilities include sharpening dies, turning, threading, milling, and building gauges to specification. Must read blueprints, understand GD&T, and prefer AutoCAD and EDM experience. High school diploma required; trade schooling valued.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Thorough understanding of GD&T.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and related drafting tools.

Responsabilités

• Sharpen cutting tools for lathe operations.
• Turn material to specified diameter on lathe.
• Cut outside and inside diameters on material with lathe.
• Cut angles on materials with lathe.
• Machine internal and external threads on material.
• Understand and operate milling machines.
• Understand chemistry and properties of different metals.
• Apply heat treatments to achieve desired hardness.
• Read and interpret blueprints and gauges.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair tooling and dies.
