Job summary

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. designs and develops tooling for manufacturing, including complex lamination molds and CNC fixtures. You will apply CAD (Catia/3DX), GD&T, and tolerance analyses to produce precise tooling and support efficient production.

Qualifications

• Requires a related BS degree in Engineering or Manufacturing.
• Extensive CAD experience including Catia/3Dx.
• Strong GD&T, tolerance analysis, and dimensional control.
• Familiar with PLM and configuration control.
• Experience with tooling design for composites and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop tools to facilitate and optimize manufacturing.
• Create tooling models with CAD (Catia/3DX) and document them.
• Apply GD&T and tolerance analyses for feasible tooling.
• Lead tool design configuration control and cost targets.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and suppliers.
• Mentor junior tool design engineers and guide process standards.
