Job summary

Kratos Space Training & Cyber in Orlando, FL seeks an experienced Design Drafter II/III to translate concepts into precise 2D/3D drawings using CAD tools. You will produce detailed components and assemblies, applying GD&T and industry standards to support manufacturing and construction.

You will interpret sketches, verify drawings for accuracy, and collaborate with engineers to ensure compliant documentation across mechanical, electrical, and structural domains.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of design drafting with CAD and 3D modeling experience.
• Follows established drafting procedures and adheres to ASME Y14/ISO standards and company/client standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering sketches, design specs, redlines, BOMs to produce accurate drawings and 3D models.
• Proficient with 2D/3D CAD (SolidWorks, Revit, Inventor) and ensure GD&T conformance.

Responsibilities

• Interprets engineering sketches, specs, redlines, calculations, and BOMs to produce 2D/3D drawings and models.
