Job summary

Maximus is actively seeking a Senior Implementation Project Manager to lead tolling and contact center implementations for the NYS Thruway team. The role manages projects from contract signing through post go-live support, with relocation assistance provided for onsite work in New York.

This position requires experience with government contracts in tolling and call centers, PMP/Agile credentials preferred, and strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 7–10 years of experience in project management.
• Experience leading government tolling and contact center implementations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and project artifacts.
• PMP and/or Agile certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex tolling and contact center project implementations from contract to post go-live.
• Prepare planning artifacts: scope, WBS, and detailed schedules.
• Monitor schedules, risks, issues, and decisions; escalate as needed.
• Deliver status updates to stakeholders and drive process improvements.
• Direct PM staff, prioritize workload, and support escalation.
• Collaborate with customers and government clients to ensure success.
