Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Sr. Implementation Project Manager to lead tolling and contact center project implementations from contract signing through post go-live support.

The role focuses on government contract implementations in tolling and contact center domains and is onsite within New York State with relocation assistance. Ideal candidates bring 7–10 years of PM experience, PMP and Agile certifications, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 7–10 years of experience in project management or equivalent.
• Strong skills in critical thinking, interpersonal interactions, team facilitation/leadership, and presentation/public speaking.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under time constraints.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience leading large corporate initiatives.
• Experience using Smartsheet and Jira.
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• PMP and Agile certifications preferred.
• Healthcare or Health Administration experience preferred.
• Experience leading state government project implementations in tolling and call center spaces.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and prepare planning activities and artifacts for complex initiatives including scope statements, WBS, and detailed schedules.
• Monitor schedule progress and implement corrective measures as needed; track issues and decisions.
• Develop and monitor risk plans with mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and deliver project status information to stakeholders.
• Implement solutions to improve processes and services for customers.
• Lead continuous improvement teams.
• Direct activities of project management staff and assist with priorities and escalation.
