Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Sr. Implementation Project Manager to lead a tolling and contact center project implementation for the NYS Thruway team. This onsite role in New York State includes relocation support.

The candidate will drive planning, risk management, and stakeholder communications from contract signing through post go-live support. Requirements include 7–10 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree, PMP/Agile preferred, and strong leadership, communication, and multi-project management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, mentoring, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under time constraints.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience managing large corporate initiatives.
• Proficiency with MS Office; Smartsheet and Jira preferred.
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies; PMP/Agile certifications preferred.
• Healthcare/Business administration experience preferred.
• Willingness to relocate to New York state or currently reside there.

Responsibilities

• Lead tolling and contact center project implementations.
• Prepare planning artifacts: scope, WBS, schedule.
• Monitor progress and resolve issues and decisions.
• Develop and monitor risk management plans.
• Deliver project status to stakeholders.
• Improve processes and services for customers.
• Lead continuous improvement teams.
• Oversee PM staff and balance workload.
