Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Sr. Implementation Project Manager to lead tolling and contact center project implementation from contract signing through post go-live support.

The role focuses on managing government contract implementations for tolling and call center systems, with relocation assistance and full onsite work in New York State. Ideal candidates bring 7–10 years of PM experience, PMP/Agile certifications, and strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7–10 years of experience in project management.
• Experience leading state government tolling/call center implementations.
• PMP and Agile certifications preferred.
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate planning activities and artifacts for complex initiatives (scope, WBS, schedule).
• Monitor schedule progress and coordinate issue resolution.
• Develop and monitor risk plans and mitigations.
• Prepare and deliver project status to stakeholders.
• Implement process improvements for customers and services.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts.
• Direct PM staff and assist with workload prioritization.
