Job summary

Amazon is seeking a TIPM Manager, Retrofits & Strategy in Boston to lead a team of TIPM Electrical Engineers within Global Electrical Engineering. You will own the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of retrofit programs across Amazon's logistics network.

Travel up to 30% and the option to work from a corporate office when not traveling are expected. The role requires deep technical fluency in electrical power systems, demonstrated people management, and the ability to influence

• 3+ years of project management (scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk)
• 4+ years of project management experience

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development: manage, mentor, and grow a team of TIPM Electrical Engineers with goals aligned to priorities and a high-performance culture.
• Electrical Distribution Retrofits: own end-to-end retrofit programs upgrading low/medium voltage systems across North America with design standards and budget accountability.
• Construction Quality & Compliance Mechanisms: maintain inspection, audit practices, and NFPA/NEC alignment across projects with risk review and corrective actions.
• Program Economics & Stakeholder Communication: support budgeting, ROI calculations, secure funding, and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• On-Call & Travel: travel up to 30% and provide 24x7 on-call response to network emergencies.
