Job summary

TECHNOLOGY LAB, LLC in Nashville seeks a Tier 3 System Administrator to design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure for diverse clients. The role requires strong Windows Server, VMware, Azure, and cloud service experience with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities include planning infrastructure, break-fix maintenance, and delivering managed services. On-site schedule is standard 8–5, with occasional after-hours support for project rollouts and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent training or experience.
• 5–10 years of experience in a fast-paced IT field.
• Experience with Windows Server environments, Mac OSX, Azure, Citrix, VMware, and cloud service design/deployments.
• Knowledge of scripting in Windows and Mac environments.
• Familiarity with Linux.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced IT troubleshooting and support for Windows, macOS, servers, SQL Server, and AD.
• Plan and implement IT infrastructure including storage and networking hardware.
• Perform break-fix hardware maintenance and OS reinstalls.
• Deliver managed services via our MSP platforms.
• Support large project rollouts including equipment installation.
• Explain complex technology to customers in simple terms.
• Coordinate with sales, management and technical staff on projects.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems on systems, servers, and storage solutions.
• Ensure security and integrity of enterprise data and backups; disaster recovery.
• Maintain asset inventory and related documentation.
