Platinum Technologies is seeking a Sr. Tier 2 Helpdesk Specialist to support a large DOD contract. Onsite in Albuquerque, NM, the role involves installing, operating, maintaining, and securing data center endpoints across classified and unclassified systems.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance is required at time of consideration.
• High School with 8+ years of relevant IT experience.
• Experience with IT ticketing systems and remote desk takeover tools.
• Knowledge of Windows administration and PowerShell scripting.
• Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL processes and security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, resolve, or elevate IT issues deskside and remotely.
• Resolve connectivity and imaging issues on endpoints (classified/unclassified).
• Perform VDI troubleshooting and resets on SIPR clients.
• Deploy and troubleshoot printers and coordinate vendor service.
• Set up IT equipment for new employees and perform routine installs.
• Maintain deployment dashboards and document changes in KBAs.
