Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sr. Tier 2 Helpdesk Specialist in Albuquerque, NM to support a large DOD contract. You will troubleshoot, deploy, and secure IT services across classified and unclassified environments, including VDI and SIPR endpoints.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, and strong customer service with ticketing experience. Onsite work with a focus on compliance, onboarding, and deployment tasks.

Qualifications

• High School with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance at time of consideration.
• Current 8140/IAT Level II (SEC+ or equivalent) prior to start date with Leidos.
• Experience with IT customer service including 2+ years of IT ticketing system experience and 1+ year with remote desk takeover tools.
• Experience meeting service level goals and targets.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, resolve, or escalate IT issues remotely or deskside.
• Resolve connection and imaging issues on endpoints (classified/unclassified).
• VDI troubleshooting and resets on SIPR thin clients; deploy printers and MFDs; onboard new employees.
• Advanced diagnostics for complex incidents; secure access controls for enterprise apps.
• Coordinate desktop installation projects and maintain Microsoft Planner dashboards.
