Ladders is seeking a Principal Threat Researcher to join its information security team. You will lead advanced research on adversary techniques, develop detections, and translate findings into actionable defenses for the organization.

This remote role targets US-based candidates and requires deep technical expertise across operating systems, cloud detection, scripting and compiled languages. You\'ll collaborate with threat hunting and detection engineering to deliver practical security outcomes.

Competenze

• 12+ years of security research experience with actionable outcomes.
• Deep expertise in at least one OS and commercial EDR platforms.
• Experience with cloud providers and cloud-based detection platforms.
• Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Python) and a compiled language (C/C++, Rust, Go).
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and their application in security.

Mansioni

• Scope and refine research initiatives to analyze emerging attack techniques.
• Deeply analyze technical components and detection optics of specific threats.
• Engineer automated attack code and develop proofs of concept for new detections.
• Collaborate with detection engineers and threat hunters to refine deliverables.
• Document and present research findings in an accessible manner.
