VulnCheck Inc. is hiring a Principal Threat Hunter to discover and document real-world exploitation and attacker infrastructure, turning discoveries into durable improvements to detection capabilities.

You will build tooling, develop detections, and present findings to customers and at industry events. This remote role across the United States offers latitude to define threat hunting approaches as the function grows.

Qualifications

• Proven track record communicating security research through public writing or reports.
• Experience hunting threats, analyzing attacker activity, or doing related security research.
• Ability to read and analyze PCAPs and network traffic.

Responsibilities

• Hunt for exploitation activity and attacker infrastructure across data.
• Turn findings into improvements for detections, tooling, and automation.
• Investigate exploitation attempts, payloads, binaries, and infrastructure.
