Intel Corporation is seeking a Thin Films Senior Process Engineer to support PVD, CVD, and ALD deposition for dielectric and metal films in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes ownership of processes and equipment, driving improvements, and coordinating multi-team initiatives to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. On-site presence in Albuquerque, NM, with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of semiconductor manufacturing process engineering experience; or Master's with 2+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor processes, MBPS methodologies, and tool ownership.
• Hands-on experience with Thin Films processes and deposition equipment.

Responsibilities

• Apply expertise in thin-film deposition to drive process performance improvements.
• Collaborate with upstream and downstream teams to deliver manufacturing improvements.
• Own processes and equipment, meeting KPIs for safety, quality, cost, productivity, and yield.
• Develop and execute strategic projects across teams with timelines and dependencies.
• Support capacity expansion and technology transfer for ramp-to-volume production.
• Partner with equipment vendors to troubleshoot and improve tool performance.
• Lead process development for current and next-generation HV manufacturing.
• Design excursion prevention/detection systems to strengthen process control.
• Lead installation, qualification, and readiness during factory ramps.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for process/equipment issues.
