Job summary

Solestial is seeking a Senior Thin Film Deposition Engineer in the United States to own and advance our deposition processes, with a strong focus on PVD and PECVD. This hands-on role will drive process development, optimization, and equipment modifications as we scale manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with sputter deposition and understands the link between process, equipment, materials, and film properties.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with sputter deposition and understanding of the relationship between process, equipment, materials and film properties.
• Hands-on capability to troubleshoot both process and deposition tools to keep equipment operating reliably.
• Expertise in developing and optimizing PVD/PECVD deposition processes.

Responsibilities

• Own and advance thin film deposition processes with a focus on PVD and PECVD.
• Drive process development, optimization, and equipment modifications as manufacturing scales.
• Troubleshoot from both process and equipment perspectives and work directly on deposition tools.
