Job summary

Intel in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Thin Films Senior Process Engineer to support PVD, CVD, and ALD deposition in a high-volume fab environment. You will drive improvements across safety, quality, cost, and yield while leading complex project execution and technology transfer.

The role requires a strong background in semiconductor thin films, hands-on process ownership, and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams to meet aggressive ramp-to-volume milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (+4 years experience).
• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (+2 years experience).

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced expertise in thin-film deposition to drive process performance and tech development.
• Collaborate with upstream/downstream teams to deliver manufacturing improvements.
• Own processes/equipment to meet KPIs: safety, quality, cost, productivity, defects, yield.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for complex projects with cross-team coordination.
• Support capacity expansion and technology transfer for ramp-to-volume production.
• Partner with vendors and stakeholders to troubleshoot and improve tool performance.
