Blue Origin, based in Washington, seeks a thermo-fluids analyst for the MK1 Fluids team within the Lunar Permanence unit. You will develop and validate thermo-fluid models, anchor to test data, and publish reports to support design decisions across the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities include collecting inputs, building 0D-1D models, post-processing results, and presenting trade studies to stakeholders. U.S. citizenship or eligible status is required for regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering is required.
• 4–5 years of thermo-fluids analysis experience.
• Strong background in fluid mechanics, heat transfer and thermodynamics.
• Experience anchoring thermo-fluid models to test data.
• Experience with Cryogenic/ two-phase or gaseous fluids systems.
• U.S. citizenship or eligible for regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collect analysis inputs from stakeholders and engineers.
• Develop or modify thermo-fluid analysis models for vehicle configurations.
• Post-process results and draw engineering conclusions.
• Publish analysis reports in Windchill to support decisions.
• Generate and present design reviews and trade studies to partners.
