Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an experienced thermo-fluid analyst for the MK1 Fluids team within the Lunar Permanence business unit. You will collect inputs, develop thermo-fluid models, and validate models against test data to support design decisions for the MK1 Lunar Lander programs. The role requires a B.S.

in mechanical or aerospace engineering with 4–5 years of experience in thermal/fluids analysis, and familiarity with Windchill, Thermal Desktop, and Sinda/Fluint. U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 4–5 years of relevant thermal/fluids analysis experience.
• Deep understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.

Responsibilities

• Collect analysis inputs from stakeholders and responsible engineers.
• Develop new or modify existing thermo-fluid analysis models to represent vehicle configuration and behavior.
• Post process analysis results to draw engineering conclusions from output data.
• Author and publish analysis reports in Windchill to support engineering decision making.
• Generate and present design review and trade study content to subsystem, vehicle and business unit partners and customers.
