Blue Origin LLC in Washington state is seeking an experienced thermal/fluids analyst to support the MK1 Fluids subsystem. You will define performance through design-to-test, build, and integration, generating and vetting analysis models and presenting results to engineers and program stakeholders.

The role requires a BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering, 3+ years of relevant experience, and hands-on work with Thermal Desktop Sinda/Fluint. U.S. citizenship or work authorization is required.

Qualifikationen

• B.S. in mechanical or aerospace engineering required.
• 3+ years of thermal/fluids analysis experience.
• Experience with thermo-fluids 0D-1D modeling using Thermal Desktop Sinda/Fluint.
• Understanding of Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and Thermodynamics.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Aufgaben

• Generate and present design review and trade study content for future SNs to subsystem and vehicle partners
• Support development of new or modifying existing thermo-fluid analysis models to represent vehicle configuration, latest interface conditions, and behaviors
• Post process analysis results to draw engineering conclusions from output data
• Author and publish analysis reports in Windchill to support engineering decision making
