Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an analyst for the MK1 Fluids team to perform thermo-fluid analyses across the development lifecycle. You will capture system inputs, validate models with test data, and support engineering decisions with clear results.

The role requires a BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering, 3+ years of thermo-fluid experience, and familiarity with Thermal Desktop/Sinda/Fluint. U.S. citizenship or eligible status is required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 1+ year(s) of thermo-fluid analysis experience.
• Experience with 0D-1D thermo-fluid modeling using Thermal Desktop Sinda/Fluint.
• Knowledge of Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and Thermodynamics.
• Hands-on experience with first-order and Excel-level fluids calculations.
• Track record of generating analysis results to support trades.
• U.S. citizenship or eligible for work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Generate and present design review and trade study content for future SNs.
• Develop or modify thermo-fluid analysis models to represent vehicle configurations.
• Post-process results to draw engineering conclusions from data.
• Publish analysis reports in Windchill to support decisions.
