Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a seasoned Staff Supply Chain Manager to lead global Thermal systems sourcing and commodity strategy. You will own RFQs, cost modelling, and supplier negotiations while partnering with Engineering, Finance, and Manufacturing to deliver high-performance, cost-efficient solutions.

The role demands 8–15 years in Purchasing or Supply Chain with automotive experience, strong negotiation, and willingness to travel 15–25% domestically and internationally. MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of hands-on purchasing or supply chain experience, specializing in Thermal Management systems.
• Proven track record developing commodity strategies and leading RFQs.
• Experience with automotive part launches and serial production.
• Strong cost-modeling and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel 15–25% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Execution Ownership: Develop and execute the global commodity strategy for Thermal systems and own commercial success of the supply base.
• End-to-End Sourcing Leadership: Lead supplier identification, RFQ processes, cost analyses, and contract negotiations.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Be the primary commercial contact for strategic suppliers and manage performance timelines.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Engineering and Supplier Quality to meet technical and program timing goals.
• Cost & Value Leadership: Build robust cost models and secure best-in-class pricing and terms.
• Program Management: Manage supplier development and parts availability for prototypes and production ramp.
• Mentorship: Guide and develop junior supply chain team members.
