Exponent is seeking a Managing Engineer in Thermal Sciences for Energy Transition in Natick, MA. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to solve urgent, high-profile energy systems problems and expand capabilities in renewables, energy storage, and hydrogen systems.

The role requires a strong technical background in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics, plus 5+ years of consulting experience in energy transition. Travel may be required and mentoring junior staff is expected.

Qualifikationen

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of technical consulting experience in energy transition.
• Strong background in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.
• PE license preferred; business development experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and client presentation skills.

• Gathering and synthesizing information from diverse sources and communicating conclusions.
• Promoting Exponent's expertise through client meetings, conferences, white papers, and seminars.
