Qualifications
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
- 8+ years of relevant thermal analysis experience; advanced degree may substitute.
- Experience with thermal analysis tools (FloTHERM, ANSYS, Thermal Desktop/SINDA).
- Ability to perform hand calculations and FEM analyses.
Responsibilities
- Perform hand calculations to scope higher-detail analysis models.
- Conduct detailed thermal analyses to address program challenges.
- Generate test plans to validate analyses and verify hardware.
- Analyze test data to validate and correlate models.
- Lead a team of thermal analysts on major program efforts.
- Present results to customers and peers; provide reviews.
