Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with relevant space environment experience.
3+ years of professional experience using thermal analysis tools such as Thermal Desktop and FloTHERM.
3+ years of professional experience leading a multidisciplinary mechanical engineering team through design, analysis, testing and launch.
Experience performing thermal analysis of mechanical and electronic systems in space environments.

Responsibilities

Perform system-level thermal design and analysis for space-based hardware, including integration and test.
Lead thermal design concepts using thermal analysis software and FEA.
Develop and document analysis results, presentations, and deliverable data packages for reviews.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive designs to closure and support test activities.
Mentor junior Thermal Analysts in software tools and methods.
