Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Arlington, TX seeks an experienced THAAD E&T Affordability Program Lead to drive DTC strategy and cost modeling for the THAAD program across its lifecycle.

You will develop cost targets, build production and sustainment models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost savings and ensure affordability.

This role emphasizes analytical rigor, program finance acumen, and leadership in cost-reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
• Experience performing affordability analysis / Design-to-Cost (DTC) activities.
• Experience developing or maintaining cost models (TruePlanning, SEER, or similar).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analytics.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and financial acumen.
• Experience analyzing large bills of material.

Responsibilities

• Establish THAAD cost targets and develop Step-Down Plans to close gaps.
• Develop and maintain cost models for production, development, and sustainment.
• Perform affordability analysis to support LCC, DTC, CAIV, and CRI.
• Leverage parametric models and custom tools to correlate requirements with cost.
• Track and report affordability and DTC progress to leadership.
• Collaborate across functions to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Organize internal/supplier workshops to drive cost reduction.
