Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. in Arlington, TX is seeking a Tool Engineer to serve as the technical lead for the THAAD tooling team, driving design, procurement, internal build, and support across production and development activities.

The role requires collaboration with Design, Systems, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Programs, with frequent national travel and the ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field.
• Ability to interpret drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, specs.
• 5+ years experience with MS Office tools.
• 5+ years experience with Pro-E/Creo/Windchill or CAD.
• Knowledge of ASME Y14.5.
• 5+ years experience with GD&T.
• Willingness to travel domestically.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to receive DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead tooling team for THAAD program tooling.
• Design and procure tooling for production and development.
• Oversee internal manufacturing build and proposals.
• Coordinate supplier and field visits.
• Define strategic path for new tooling group.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and program management.
